Super Bowl Food Ideas

We all know that the food is the best part of a Super Bowl party.

KIDDING! Kind of…

I actually really like watching the game. I also love to eat, but I strongly dislike leaving the party feeling overstuffed, bloated, and tired the next day.

The good news is that there are a ton of healthier Super Bowl food options to choose from, so you can have your fun and eat it, too.

Here is my list of top healthy Super Bowl party food ideas. Whether you decide to make a full healthy menu from scratch, or just sneak a few healthy party snacks onto the buffet table, everyone will love these options.

Healthy Super Bowl Food Ideas

Easy Loaded Sheet Pan Nachos

Sheet Pan Nachos

Easy Loaded Sheet Pan Nachos are a football party MUST. They look all fancy but they’re super easy to put together. Make extra, they go fast.

Pea Guacamole with Beet Chips

Pea Guacamole-Elizabeth Rider BlogPea Guacamole with Beet Chips is one of my all-time favorite snacks! Pea guacamole is a lighter spin on traditional guac and has a wonderful, mildly sweet flavor. Once you make it you’ll want it all the time. It’s also a great way to stretch out pricy avocados with inexpensive peas.

Everyone’s Favorite Vegetarian Chili

Everyone’s Favorite Vegetarian Chili Recipe is a staple in my house. It’s loaded with flavor and both vegetarians and carnivores love it.

Game Day Chili

Elizabeth’s Healthy Game-Day Chili is another family favorite. If you’re feeling some meaty chili, then you will love it.

Crockpot Shredded Chicken Tacos

Super bowl food Chicken Tacos

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tacos make for great football-watching food. Make them in a Crockpot and let people assemble their own tacos at their leisure. (Tip: make them “buffalo-style” by adding 2/3 cup of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce at the end before shredding.)

Beet Hummus with Veggies & Crackers

Beet Hummus Snack Tray

Beet Hummus is a wonderful (and pretty!) spin on traditional hummus. It makes for great Super Bowl food for those who want something fresh and healthy. Serve it with fresh veggies and crackers or pita of your choice.

Spicy Garlicky Edamame

Spicy Garlic Edamame Recipe

Spicy Garlicky Edamame looks unassuming but it’s FULL of flavor and everyone devours it. Plus, it’s inexpensive and easy to make.
