I have a strong belief that everyone should be making 3 lists before January 1st.
Your lists don’t have to be complicated or fancy – write it all on a napkin if you have to.
Getting this stuff out of your head and onto paper will hugely make a difference in 2014.
Your 3 lists:
#1 What are you proud of/what did you accomplish in 2013 that served your highest self? What made you a better person?
#2 What feelings, things, thoughts, beliefs and/or relationships do you want to LEAVE BEHIND in 2013, and not bring into 2014? (Now is a great time to sever ties to what doesn’t serve you.)
#3 How do you want to FEEL in 2014? A list of goals, where you want to travel, names of people who you want to spend time with, events you want to attend are all great things to add here, just be sure to include how those things will make you feel. (Danielle LaPorte’s Desire Map is great for this.)
Keep this list so you can refer to it, add to it, and look at it next New Year’s Eve. You’ll be amazed at how much progress you’ll make and the life perspective this exercise gives you.
I’d love to know anything on your lists, share here in the comments to speak it into the Universe.
Happy New Year’s Eve!
Thanks for the post.
