I LOVE Juicing! I love the green taste! Call me crazy but I do!. I like to mix, 2 large ripe Tomato’s, and hand full of spinach, about 5 kale leaves, 2 cucumber, a lemon. and 3 or 4 celery. WHa’La! I drink it down and its so delish!

Also.. I like 1 large Grapefruit, 2 Navel Oranges. 1 large Lemon, 3 Honey Crisp Apples and a bit of ginger! THats my wake up juice for the morning! Its so refreshing!

    OR……

Watermelon, a lemon, and mint sprigs …….thats all you need……..and you have a sweet wonderful drink that Kool’aid would only WISH it was!.

I love your site and have learned alot!

    Thank you

    Tabitha

Just watched your video on juicing, which contained some very helpful information.  Here’s one question I can’t seem to find an answer to:  If I’m doing a several day juice fast (meaning I’m eating nothing, just drinking juices) how much juice should I be consuming in a day?  How should I distribute the beverages throughout the day?  Thanks!

  5. Loving your blog and all the yummy recipes and tips.  This was a great video – I have been doing a juice fest for the last few days so really helpful for me!  Thanks so much for your fab blog xxx

  6. Uzma says:

Thanks Elizabeth, great blog and great information.  I had not realized that the air can start to oxidize the juice.  Yes ginger would be a good addition, thanks Hannah, i also add a tiny bit of fresh ginger in my smoothies.   Great tip to use the lemon too.
Thanks again, I love your blogs. x

Thanks, Elizabeth! I just discovered your blog and absolutely love it!! 🙂 … I keep my juices really simple : 1 head of   romaine lettuce, 4-5 carrots, give or take a few stalks of celery or cucumber plus some ginger or lemon.

  8. Liz, GREAT blog post! I love to juice, I have a Jack LaLange Juicer and it’s a great way to get the nutrients from juicing (esp. for my kids who REFUSE to eat veg) – hopefully one day I can get a VitaMix. Thanks for sharing the great info!
