Description

These wholesome and delicious peanut butter oat energy bites are easy to make and perfect for snacking on the go. Toss a few into a bag and bring them with you to work, school, or on road trips!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup whole rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup plain creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 23 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (omit if your peanut butter contains salt)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
  2. Place the bowl in the fridge and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes. This ensures that the mixture won’t be too sticky to roll into balls.
  3. Use a spoon to divide the mixture into 12 evenly-sized bites. Then, use your hands to roll each bite into a round ball. Enjoy now or store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week.
