Description

This whipped feta dip is creamy and tangy and can be made in less than 5 minutes. Pair with your favorite fresh veggies or toasted pita bread.

Ingredients

Units
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, block
  • 3/4 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Pita bread, baguette slices, or fresh veggies, for serving

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic clove. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed. It should be creamy and spreadable.
  2. Plate It Up & Garnish: Place the whipped feta to a serving bowl. Use the back of a spoon to create swirls in the dip for an extra fancy touch. Drizzle a little extra-virgin olive oil over the top, then sprinkle with your favorite additions. Add a fresh pop of color with freshly chopped parsley or a little crunch with a few chopped nuts, such as crushed pistachios. We also love it with a sprinkle of za’atar seasoning.
  3. To Serve: Pair your whipped feta dip with warm pita bread, baguette slices, or an assortment of fresh veggies like cucumber, carrot sticks bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes.

Notes

Whipped feta dip can be made up to a day in advance. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and give it a good stir before serving. Just add your favorite garnishes right before serving to keep it looking fresh.
