Description
Chocolate chip pancakes are a classic breakfast favorite and this recipe has only seven ingredients and is ready in 20 minutes or less.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour or 1:1 gluten-free flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar, optional
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter + more for cooking
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- Whipped cream or coconut whipped cream, for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs into milk then stir in 2 tablespoons melted butter (not too hot).
- Gently stir this mixture into the dry ingredients, but don’t overmix.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Ladle your batter onto your skillet in any size you’d like.
- While batter is still moist in the skillet, sprinkle in a few chocolate chips while it cooks.
- Flip after bubbles rise to surface and bottom browns. Repeat with next pancakes.
- Serve with whipped cream and maple syrup.
