Description

This Apple Smoothie with Spinach is made with just a few simple ingredients, including apples, bananas, spinach, lemon juice, and water. It’s packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and it’s a great way to get your daily dose of fruits and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium red apple, cored and seeds removed, peel left on, and cut into 2-inch chunks
  • 1 peeled banana (preferably frozen)
  • 2 handfuls (2 loose cups) of fresh baby spinach leaves
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1.5 cups of filtered water
  • Optional: 1-2 teaspoons of honey, if needed for sweetness

Instructions

  1. Pour all the liquid ingredients into the blender first. This keeps the ingredients from jamming in the bottom of your blender.
  2. Add the apples, banana, spinach, and lemon juice.
  3. Blend all the ingredients on high in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
